Dr. Amy Robbins is a clinical psychologist and medium whose focus is finding meaning in our lives by looking through the lens of death. She wanted to invest in her passion project, a podcast she hosted called "Life, Death and the Space Between."
A podcast associated with dying could easily go very dark. But Amy and her practice are very much the opposite. The brand goal was to create something beautiful, abstract, and optimistic to offset people's typical connotations of death.
Claireperk narrowed down to a series of typefaces that felt like Amy – smart bookish serifs and scientific-feeling sans-serifs with a touch of crystal vibes.
For imagery, we selected macro, grainy photos that are layered over one another to lend a unique feeling to the brand and represent varying levels of consciousness. The goal was to pique the viewer's curiosity while feeling vaguely beautiful and open to interpretation.
